Simply Seated Rents and Events Is Born!
While dealing with these complications, I found myself thinking up ways that I could make the entire party planning process easier... to simplify the overall task by breaking it down and minimizing each of the many steps involved. And, you know what they say...the best business ideas start with identifying a problem, understanding the cause of the problem, and finding a way to solve it.
Thus, Simply Seated Rents and Events was born! I'm happy to report that we're doing exactly what I set out to do: We're offering customers lots of options - so many options that I can honestly say that No two Simply Seated events look the same... and we're streamlining the event planning process for people by assisting them in making their event a success! We have never stopped growing our inventory of rental products so that you, the customer, have a vast selection to choose from. We keep our eye on evolving style trends so our inventory stays fresh. Being able to help a customer bring their vision to life by thinking outside the box and truly personalizing the look and feel of their celebration brings us joy.
A little bit of backstory:
The Simply Seated Rents & Events story began many years ago, when I was one of five kids growing up in a busy suburban home in Rowlett Texas. There was always something going on in my home. Between my brothers always having friends over, and my sister and I always having sleep overs, my parents rarely had a moment of peace and quiet. If you ask my parents now, sure, they'd tell you that it was LOUD - but that it was the BEST kind of LOUD - happy kids having fun!
As I got older my mother and I enjoyed planning get togethers like surprise parties, birthdays, Super Bowl watch parties, and my parents' big annual Halloween bash. (Nothing has changed - to this day, just give us a reason to celebrate & we'll throw a party!) My love for "all things party planning" led me to plan larger and larger events.
During this time, I was confronted with the same problem over and over again... a lack of options. For many years, those of us in the Dallas suburbs had about 2-3 dependable event rental companies to choose from. Because of this, you'd need to put your table and chair rental order in EARLY because they rented fast! So, basically if you had a last minute need for more than a few tables and chairs, it was usually a no-go. And if you lived on the outskirts of the metroplex near Lake Ray Hubbard and Lake Lavon, asking for delivery was like asking someone to drive across the country!
